On Friday morning 26th August the official Lymm Town Crier Mr Peter Powell was in fine voice opening Sainsbury's 393rd Local store in Lymm village centre. The store is 3013 square feet and is open seven days a week, 7am to 11pm. It has has a fresh bakery section, fresh fruit and veg, meat and fish. There is a good range of beers and wines and a range of well priced ready meals. Baskets and wheeled trolleys are available and the improved checkout has both manned tills and a speedy self-scan checkout option.
Outside the store has a Free Cash Withdrawal machine. Inside the store has a Pay Point where shoppers can pay domestic bills. Lottery tickets can also be bought in store. Jeff Freeman, Project Manager for Sainsbury's Local brand, said that local shoppers would benefit from all the national promotions on the Local Range.
Sainsbury's kindly donated a flat screen TV to Lymm Community Centre - thank you Sainsbury's! Let's all support this store as it's so important to the village centre.
