A super chilly end to the year, December has brought us Santa-sized sacks full of festive fun and plenty of snow to go with it! Dickensian was a delicious treat to the start of the season and the fun continued right through to Christmas with a generous coating of the white stuff on the ground. So whether it’s sledging round the Dam, or frosty strolls down the canal, we want to see what you’ve been up to!
Lymm has resembled Narnia over the past couple of weeks with its frosted trees and twinkly lights lining the streets, creating some stunning snowy scenes. Get a little bit snap happy over the festive period? We want to see all your best Winter and Christmas snap shots that you’ve taken around Lymm. There are already some great photos in the Gallery of Lymm Dickensian Day 2010 courtesy of local photographer Terry Offord. So if you have any images that you’d like us to feature in the Gallery then please don’t hesitate to email them to matthew@lymm.com along with your name and title of the photograph.
Christmas time and all its celebrations left you a wee bit short of pennies too? Well why not see if you can bag our £100 cash prize in the latest Lymm.com Photography Competition. The theme this time round is “Winter Wonderland” so pick your best festive photos and email them to matthew@lymm.com along with your name and contact details. Alternatively feel free to take some images over the coming couple of months. Three entrants per person and all images will be featured in the Gallery. Closing date is the end of February.
Happy New Year!!
