You’ll all be thrilled to hear that our beautiful picturesque village is now home to a big shiny "Gold" Commonweath Medal! A massive WELL DONE goes to local Lymm lad, Mark Jennings, who recently brought the medal home after competing for England in the Commonweath Youth Games in Isle of Man.
Our Rugby 7’s superstar, who also plays for Sale Sharks, competed in the games 2 weeks ago. A massive event, the Commonweath Youth Games involved 65 countries competing in 7 different sports.
So WELL DONE Mark for yet another FANTASTIC performance! We’re all very proud and wish you the best of luck in your future events.
