A message from Tony Poole

"The trip originally started with Mike Constable deciding to buy a bike and cycle down in 2005. The following year I and Roger Wynn joined him for the same trip. The following year CVSL and Northwest Events did a Charity cycle with a group of 13 guys and raised over £7000 for Christies. We then missed a year due to injuries etc. This year we have a combined crew of over 30. Part of the Crew are using this as a training event for The Manchester Blackpool bike ride that we do every year for Charity. Manchester Blackpool will be a ride to the Park after this. The Hardest part of the trip is a 9 Miles climb out of Betsy coed over the Snowdonia hills and dropping down to Banger. This is a relentless climb that continues around every corner".

"We have a lot of new cyclists this year and it will be there first time for such a challenge. I am sure they will all finish this trip and will enjoy the massive sense of achievement that I personally felt the first time I did it, this also being my first time on a Bike for a long time".
