Lived in the Lymm parish for most of my life. Educated at Lymm Grammar School and Manchester University. Graduated in Physics and qualified as an Electrical Engineer. Served in the RAF for two years. Employed by AEI Ltd. Research Department, Transferred to ICI Ltd. as a Control Engineer and Manager for the major part of my career. Superintendent of Electrical Engineering Department at Manchester University before retirement. Experience with Organisation Development, Systems Engineering and problem solving. Have an interest in education. School Governor for 30 years. Interested in local affairs and elected to Lymm Parish Council in 1989 to represent Booths Hill ward. Council Chairman 1991. Chairman of Planning committee. Trustee of Warrington and Lymm CAB. Trustee of Lymm Grammar School Foundation Trust.
