Following on from the success of Lymm.com’s very own recently launched postcard, we were absolutely delighted when we received the following email from Daniel Howarth all the way from New Zealand. Having grown up in Lymm throughout his childhood, he was thrilled when his mother sent him our Lymm.com postcard. Read on for his lovely email that he sent us in reply. Dear Lymm.com
I have received a Lymm postcard from my mother, who lives next to the Lymm Hotel. Having been brought up in Lymm, when I try to describe the area I simply say - a picture postcard village.
The Lymm.com postcard showed a wonderful array of village life in Lymm, showing off its multitude of colours and personalities.
The 11368 miles between my childhood home and my current home of Auckland, New Zealand, may culminate in being 'only a day away', but a small simple wonderful gestures like this, makes me feel that much closer.
From spring time in the southern hemisphere, I wish all of Lymm, my best wishes.
