A small tennis club with big ambitions based in Lymm, Cheshire.

The members of Manor Road pride themselves on being very friendly and welcoming to new members of all ages.

At the present time the club has two shale courts and a club house on Manor Road,Lymm. This includes an area to sit, relax, chat and watch tennis, a kitchen area with fridge and facilities for making hot drinks and a changing area with toilet.

Club officials are working closely with Lymm Rugby Club and Lymm High School to improve both these facilities and the coaching over the next few years.

With the proposed developments in mind we are looking for new members of all ages and abilities, particularly juniors.

Anyone who feels that they would like to sample the hospitality and possibly become a member simply turn up at the club on Monday Evenings from 6 pm or Saturday afternoons from 2 pm between April and October.

Senior Subscription includes social membersip of Lymm Rugby Club which is situated 100 yards from the tennis courts.

Parking is available at the Rugby Club and after match refreshments can be purchased from this venue. Members also enjoy all the benefits of being a social member at the Rugby Club.
Annual Events In addition to the league matches there is a knockout competition and the Annual Stockton Heath Tournament.
Additional Information

Manor Road play competitive tennis in the Dunlop Warrington Tennis League organised by Warrington LTA.

For the 2010/11 season we will be entering:

  • Ladies 1st and 2nd Teams
  • Mens 1st, 2nd and 3rd Teams
  • Mixed 1st and 2nd Teams

The League Tennis begins in April with the mens and ladies matches and continues through to August with mixed matches. Men play most of their matches on a Thursday Evening with a few matches being scheduled for Monday evenings. Ladies play on Tuesday Evenings with one match on a Friday evening.

All matches are scheduled to begin at 6.30 pm.

For this season the Mens third team will play their home matches at Grappenhall Tennis Club.
