Cotebrook is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque historic village of Lymm. Previously it was a country home owned by Dewhurst family and has always been a part of Lymm's local history. It has been a residential home for physically disabled adults since 1946.
Today
Although there are 30 residents, there is 37 members of staff. It retains a home like feeling. There is short and long term stay on offer and our residents feel comfortable and settled in a secure atmosphere.
Day Centre
There is an active day centre, which is open to the residents and day visitors where there is no boundary to the imagination.
There is in house entertainment and we are commencing theme nights on a regular basis. The residents have monthly meetings with the manager, where any concerns or new ideas can be raised to make Cotebrook even better!
Staff
Carers are highly trained and motivated to provide the best possible care and are all in the process of achieving National Vocational Qualifications. Yoga and Tai chi are available so that our aim for total holistic care can be realised.
The home has a good working relationship with the local health professionals and can access services when needed.
Your support
We welcome aid in many forms, whether you would like to lend a helping hand at an annual event, share your knowledge or expertise with our residents, or offer financial support or donations we are most grateful. Please contact Mrs Timms if you would like to help.
