Yvonne has been the Clerk of Lymm Parish Council since June 2000. Prior to taking on the post of Clerk she worked for H M Customs and Excise for 23 years and obtained a degree from Leeds University. Yvonne has lived in Lymm for 27 years and now runs the 2nd Lymm Rainbows Unit. She enjoys walking and swims regularly at Lymm Leisure Centre.

The role of the Clerk is to provide advice, administrative support and to take action to implement council decisions. The Clerk acts as project manager, personnel director, public relations officer and finance administrator. The Clerk oversees the running of Lymm Village Hall and the four allotment sites in Lymm.
