The Spread Eagle is a big cheerful pub that offers good value high quality freshly prepared traditional British home-made food all day. There is a comprehensive menu offering sandwiches, baguettes, two-course bargains and steaks. It caters in mainstream fashion for those who like their food plain and plentiful. With a large selection of ales and wines, the pub offers a great service, is both child and dog friendly and has a range of function rooms to cater for different tastes.
Pass through the snug with a roaring seasonally lit coal fire and head to the sports bar where you will find a 50 inch screen TV. All major sporting events will be shown.
Upstairs there is a function room which is well-appointed and comfortable. Perfect for a wedding reception. Caters for 60 guests seated or 80 buffet style.
