The charming Church Green gastro pub in Lymm is set next to the scenic Lymm Dam and St Mary’s Church and has a great reputation.
Apart from the Grosvenor Hotel in Chester, it’s now the highest rated AA eatery in Cheshire and Greater Manchester and is ranked amongst the top 10 per cent of restaurants in the UK.
The Church Green in Lymm is now home to one of the UK's hottest culinary talents, Aiden Byrne, who has earned rave reviews during his time in London. Aiden Byrne became the UK’s youngest Michelin star chef at the age of 22.
The menu
The menu at the Church Green changes daily and is based on fresh local produce, with some of the greens coming from their own herb and vegetable garden. The Church Green is open for lunch and dinner every day with a choice between the bar menu and the a la carte with the wine list stretching to 75 bins. There's room for 60 diners inside and another 140 al fresco when weather permits. The Church Green picked up Best Newcomer at the 2009 Northern Hospitality Awards.
